1) Apply B in crease and blending out slightly above crease
2) Apply C toward inner and outer corner of crease, patting on more color toward the lashline
3) Blend A on top lid above color B and on to brow bone
4) Pat D on to middle of top lid
5) Line the inner 1/3 of the bottom lashline with D
6) Line the outer 1/3 of the bottom lashline with C
7) Line the middle 1/3 of the bottome lashline with B, overlapping slightly with C and D
8) Curl lashes

I really love this quad for the basic neutral look with a twist. Without the green trick on powder, it would be very boring, but the very pretty light green (that is unfortunately a little washed out in the pictures) gives the otherwise down-to-earth look a lively touch. It's too bad MJ decided to move on to another series of Majolooks since I think the Trick On Majolooks are really amazing, and I would actually consider collecting them all since I absolutely adore the two that I have so far (BR751 & BR742).

EOTD - Maquillage Eyes Creator (3D) VI367

1) Apply A with light patting motions all over lid, including brow bones
2) Apply B in the crease
3) Apply C to the lower half of the crease and to either end of the top lid, leaving a gap in the middle over the center of your eye
4) Pat D onto the center of the eye where the gap was left in step 3 and blend the color out so there are no obvious color blocks
5) Line the top lashline and the outer 2/3 of the lower lashline with E, extending the line out a little beyond the outer corner of the top lashline
5) Apply B to the inner 1/3 of the lower lashline
6) Apply C to the outer 2/3 of the lower lashline, overlapping slightly with B
7) Curl lashes

You can see from the pictures that this eye look is extremely light. Despite everything that I've done outlined in the above directions, it appears like I haven't applied much on my eye. You can also see how the gel/cream liner doesn't really show up well with the brush included. I had to apply 3-4 layers to get the color to look dark on my top lashline, and since I only applied 1 layer of the liner on my bottom lashline, you can't really see it in the pictures. This palette is great for work as well as going out during the day if you don't like to look too makeupy. However for an office look, I would suggest that you only apply the white cream base in the crease (as opposed to over the entire lid) since it is very obviously sparkly.

1) Use D to line the upper lashline
2) Apply C in the bottom half of the crease, smudging out D a little
3) Apply B in the crease above C, overlapping slightly with C
4) Apply A on the top lid above the crease and on the browbone, overlapping slightly with B
5) Pat E gently on to the center of the top lid
6) Apply E in the inner corner of the lower lashline
7) Apply A slightly below E on the lower lashline, extending to cover the inner 1/3 of the lower lashline
8) Apply D to the outer corner of the lower lashline
9) Apply C slightly below D on the lower lashline, extending to cover the outer 2/3 of the lower lashline
10) Fill in the triangle at the outer corner of the lower lashline with B
11) Curl lashes

This is a very simple gradated neutral look. Very office appropriate, but this palette can also be easily upgraded to a smoky eye look for the night with some black liner and more shimmer. As usual, all pictures were taken under sunlight.

L'Oreal HiP EOTDs

I actually did these EOTDs a while back, but because they are so simple, I was hesitant to put these on the blog. However, since I haven't posted in a while and I don't have pictures taken of other EOTDs, here they are ^_^ All of the EOTD pictures were taken under a mix of yellow and white light.

L'Oreal HiP Gunmetal Look

Products used:

L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Single in Shroom Shimmer
L'Oreal HiP Metallic Eye Shadow Duo in Gunmetal

Directions:

(A) Yellow line - Shroom Shimmer
(B) Olive green line - lighter olive color in Gunmetal
(C) Green line - dark forest green color in Gunmetal

1) Apply A all over lid, concentrating more on the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye
2) Line the top lash line with C, flicking up slightly at the outer corner of the eye
3) Line the outer 2/3 of the lower lash line with B
4) Line the inner 1/3 of the lower lash with A
5) Curl lashes

Like I said, extremely simple. Simple to the point that there really is no reason for this being on my blog except as a record for myself =P In any case, this is a makeup look that is very low key, but still gives you a slight pop of color and more focus to your eyes. I really like how the metallic olive in Gunmetal looks on the lower lash line.

L'Oreal HiP Charisma Look

The same concept and method of application used above can also be applied to the L'Oreal HiP Concentrated Duo in Charisma.

Directions:

(A) Yellow line - Shroom Shimmer
(B) Lavender line - lighter mauve in Charisma
(C) Purple line - darker matte purple in Charisma

Follow the same directions as above.

Sorry for the slightly unevenly line on the top lash line. This look is even lighter than the one with gunmetal since the colors in this duo show up less vibrantly than the metallic duos. It is, nonetheless, a simple, elegant, and effective daytime look.

EOTD - Coffret D'or Trance Deep Eyes 04

1) Apply B in the crease
2) Use C to apply a thick line above the top lashline
3) Apply D to the inner corner of the eye, just a little bit in the crease right above the top lashline and on the inner 1/3 of the lower lashline
4) Apply C to the outer 1/3 of the lower lashline
5) Apply B to the middle of the lower lashline, smudging the edge out a little where it touches colors C and D
6) Use the big brush in the palette (or any small, loose brush) to sweep A lightly above the crease, on the browbone, and below the eye
7) Curl lashes

The result is a very elegant and radiant look. The lavender shade (B) is not too obvious so this palette is perfect for a spring/summer look that's office-appropriate. For a more dramatic look, you can apply the lavender shade higher and/or line more of the lower lashline with the pewter shade (C).
